Henry Nicolle's Platform Positions
***
Each Platform Position is intended to be a resource for understanding why I so strongly believe that Liberty, inherent rights of the individual and strict adherence to the principles of self-government described in our federal Constitution are essential to the well-being, prosperity and happiness of our society and most especially of all the individual Citizens of our states.

Each Platform position is derived from an essential element of our form of self-government, or develops a particular example of that element.

Each position offers a brief summary, a brief discussion and foundation references.

Since the list is current, topical and open to addition as time permits, the list is endless. But I will be happy to add a position to this discussion that may be of particular interest to you.

Contact me with the subject you wish to have me add to this Platform Position Listing. I will be happy to make the addition.

1. Purpose of Government for the Union of the US of A

The Promise:
We have created all local, state and federal governments to defend our lives and property, to preserve our individual liberty and preserve self-determination of Citizens and the People. All other activities of government are disposable conveniences.

The Problem:
Our institutions and servants have failed in this duty and have become the most active, dangerous enemies of individual liberty and private property in our society.

The Platform:
I promise to work to return federal and state actors to their proper, limited roles in society, commerce, belief, race and individual self-determination.

The Applicable Fundamental Law of the Land:

In Congress, July 4, 1776.
The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America

2. Our Individual Rights are Inherent and are not Granted by Government.

The Promise:
We are born with individual rights so numerous and powerful that they cannot be counted or described. It is from these unlimited rights and powers that we lend certain limited powers to our representatives and institutions for governing our society.

The Problem:
Our institutions have reversed this concept and now presume to conduct public affairs as our rulers, not as our servants, presuming to allow us only those freedoms which they believe will yield a prosperous, stable and obedient society .

The Platform:
I promise to defend our rights from encroachment by governing powers and to work to reverse the policies of government which subvert individual liberty to societal servitude.

The Applicable Fundamental Law of the Land:

In Congress, July 4, 1776.
The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America

3. Powers Delegated for Governing are Enumerated and Limited.

The Promise:
We have not granted our federal officers and institutions unlimited authority to exercise our formidable collective powers. No institution and no official may expand the authority delegated nor add any power or authority not granted.

The Problem:
From the time of our revolution, until today, we have been much too tolerant of misconduct by our public servants and usurpation by our representatives and officials of powers and authority not granted. We now have several generations of inhabitants who accept petty and gross tyranny without complaint, or even the knowledge that they are betrayed and deceived by their servants. They accept the conditional semblance of liberty as if it were liberty itself.

The Platform:
I promise to spotlight government misconduct, official corruption and unlawful federal policies with the purpose of eliminating the existing corruption of our governing institutions and discouraging policies which employ corrupting means.

The Fundamental Law of the Land:

Constitution for the United States of America

(Amendments) Article [IX.]
The enumeration in this Constitution, of certain rights,
shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

(Amendments) Article [X.]
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution,
nor prohibited by it to the States,
are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

4. Our form of self-government is unique among the societies of the world.

The Promise:
We often allow the error of comparison of our government with other governments. No comparison is possible. Other governments of the world hold powers of national Sovereignty and grant rights and privileges to their citizens or subjects as the government finds convenient.

In America, we have no need of grants of rights from our governments, for all rights and powers that humans can hold are ours by birth. Our governments receive their authority to serve and the powers to act by loan from us.

We, of all the societies of the world, are the true Sovereigns of our state and federal governments. We rule ourselves. Our inherent powers are unlimited, and the powers lent for governing are few. Powers delegated, (lent) to our representatives and institutions may only be exercised on our behalf and according to our instructions.

The purpose of these delegations is to provide common methods to secure our liberty and property from those who would deny us of them and to perform these just duties in a manner which best preserves our individual lives, liberty and property to ourselves.

The Problem:
The people and institutions of our governments have abandoned their duties for new presumptions of government ownership of the People, our lives, property and pleasures. We, in turn, have abandoned our birthrights, our liberty, our property, our happiness and our families to the limitless rules, regulations, statutes, laws and policies of the people of government. Liberty no longer exists in our society. We enjoy some of the effect of liberty and self-determination without the actual fact.

The Platform:
I promise to advance the restoration of self-rule and diminish the power of federal interference in state and individual affairs with the purpose of returning our People, our states and our country to world leadership by rekindling the lights of liberty and justice, providing a shining example of individual liberty and opportunity, enabling a peaceful society with lawful process, real justice and respect for all fellow inhabitants.
