| A number of years ago, I had a friend, a woman who
began a campaign to bring law and justice to her small town
in New York. During the period when her work began getting traction investigating
and pursuing the criminal acts of New York "officials" who were without
oaths of office and in defiance of their mandatory legal and Constitutional
qualifications, I created hundreds of pages for her work which have resided
here on Sheriffhenry for years, long after she had reestablished her own
Internet presence and moved to a new format and enterprise. Those were
long months of work for both her and myself, with the heavy-lifting at
the law and motions keyboard, from the defendant's box and from jail on
her shoulders, alone. Now, it appears that the years' accumulated toll
of pressure, retaliation and harassment has finally become unbearable.
That is my personal opinion and should not reflect badly upon my friend's
stalwart dedication to Liberty. We have others who have endured the unendurable
and in the end, proved to be merely human, not super-human.
In her early success, she quickly discovered that law and justice in our courts are difficult to find and impossible to sustain. During those long years on legal battlefields and in back-alley contests against corruption, she suffered extreme persecution by unlicensed and un-sworn impostors in the constabulary and courts, suffered extended jail-time, financial devastation and social ostracism. That's how small towns are, when the government has turned criminally sour and acrimonious. But, my friend did prevail in may ways before yielding to the pressures which have now made her life miserable. Virtually single-handed, her work forced the New York Legislature to re-vamp the judiciary and address the problems resulting from bogus judges and justices, constables, prosecutors, mayors and other public officials. The fight for law and justice continues, however. The criminals remain in power. Although these pages are now gone from Sheriffhenry, my friend's efforts are not forgotten, nor are they unappreciated here. Congratulations, my friend for your stubborn and un-yielding dedication to justice, for the success that you have achieved and for the contributions to Self-Government that have cost you so much. You are a heroine for what you have accomplished and for what you have sacrificed in the process. Fight on, friend. Thank you, American Patriot.p.s. It appears that my friend has been successfully attacked recently by political and other enemies (of which she has many by her successes in political and governing reform). The pain and trouble appear to have become too much for even her stout resolve to bear. As a friend, and in spite of acrimonious circumstances, I have removed the last six or eight years or so of references to her and her work, at her request, to spare her the continuing torment from the political losers who are relentless in their attacks.
